Arsenal's Coach Confirms Saka Ready to Face West Ham United
The head coach of the Gunners, Mikel Arteta, has provided assurance that Bukayo Saka will be fit and ready for action in Arsenal's upcoming match against West Ham United.
Arsenal is set to visit the London Stadium this Sunday, gearing up for a Premier League showdown with the Hammers. Last weekend, Arsenal secured a notable 3-1 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.
Saka played a crucial role in the triumph, scoring the first goal for Arsenal. Although a Magalhaes own goal temporarily leveled the scores, Arsenal rallied in the second half. Gabriel Martinelli capitalized on a mistake from Alisson Becker, and a critical error from Virgil Van Dijk allowed Arsenal to regain the lead.
In the 90th minute, Learndo Trossard sealed the deal with a close-range goal, slipping the ball between the legs of Alisson. Unfortunately, Saka couldn't complete the match due to a knock he sustained and was substituted by Reiss Nelson.
Addressing concerns about Saka's fitness after limping off against Liverpool, Mikel Arteta stated, "He's been recovering this week, and he looks OK." This confirmation provides relief to Arsenal fans ahead of the West Ham clash, with Saka expected to be a key asset in the upcoming fixture.
