Ikechukwu Reveals Unfair Treatment at Mohits:

Nigerian rapper and actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku, professionally known as Ikechukwu, recently shared insights into his time at the now-defunct Mohits Records, owned by D’banj and Don Jazzy. In an interview with Daddy Freeze, Ikechukwu disclosed that, despite potential repercussions, he felt compelled to speak his truth.

Ikechukwu alleged that D’banj would pay him a mere N50,000 for shows he got booked for, even when the actual fee exceeded a substantial N1.5 million. He expressed feeling undervalued, stating that the 'koko master' made it seem like a favor rather than fair compensation.

Surprisingly, D’banj eventually increased the payment to N150,000, a decision influenced by Ikechukwu's mother, who played a vital role in the label's decision-making process. Ikechukwu clarified that he was never involved in a physical altercation with D’banj, countering previous claims. Instead, he served as D’banj’s bodyguard during their time at Mohits Records.
