Liverpool's 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates stadium left manager Jurgen Klopp enraged, particularly with the decision made by referee Anthony Taylor to send off Ibrahima Konate during the game.

In the Premier League encounter on Sunday, the Reds suffered a setback, losing 3-1 to Arsenal.

Expressing his discontent, Klopp took aim at Anthony Taylor's officiating, highlighting several decisions that he felt went against his team, notably the second yellow card given to Ibrahima Konate.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Klopp stated, "A lot of things were against us today. This referee gave me a red card against Man City for a wrestling situation between Bernardo Silva and Mo Salah."

The match saw Bukayo Saka giving Arsenal the lead after 14 minutes, although Liverpool managed to equalize just before half-time thanks to a Gabriel Magalhaes own goal.

However, in the second half, Arsenal seized control once more, capitalizing on a defensive mix-up between Virgil van Dijk and Alisson, which allowed Gabriel Martinelli to restore Arsenal's lead.

The Gunners further solidified their victory when substitute Leandro Trossard found the back of the net in stoppage time, making it 3-1.

Konate's dismissal in the final stages, following a second yellow card for a foul on Arsenal's Kai Havertz, compounded Liverpool's frustrations.

Klopp further lamented, "Today, the same situation with Jota didn't result in a red card. It is unbelievable. Then the act of holding Havertz on Konate for the first yellow card. Havertz goes down, and the referee gives Konate a yellow card. Gabriel does the same to Nunez, and no yellow card."

With this victory, Arsenal closed the gap to within two points of league leaders Liverpool, in what proved to be a thrilling encounter at the Emirates Stadium.
