Lamor Miller-Whitehead, a 47-year-old Brooklyn bishop widely recognized for his extravagant lifestyle, has been found guilty of multiple charges including wire fraud, attempted extortion, and providing false information to the FBI. 

The verdict was delivered by jurors in Manhattan Federal Court, with Whitehead facing a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison for his offenses.


The charges against Whitehead were the result of three separate fraudulent schemes. Notably known as the 'Bling Bishop,' Whitehead presided over the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie.

One of the accusations against him involved defrauding an elderly single mother named Pauline Anderson of $90,000, under the false pretense of using the money to purchase a house for her. Instead, prosecutors revealed that he utilized the funds to finance his lavish lifestyle, which included luxury purchases. 

Public records disclosed that Whitehead resided in a $1.6 million residence in Paramus, New Jersey, and possessed multiple apartment buildings in Hartford, Connecticut.


The conviction of Lamor Miller-Whitehead, also known as the 'Bling Bishop,' on charges of wire fraud, attempted extortion, and providing false information to the FBI, was delivered by jurors in Manhattan Federal Court. 

The verdict carries a potential prison sentence of up to 45 years. Whitehead, who led the Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Canarsie, was accused of deceiving an elderly single mother, Pauline Anderson, by fraudulently obtaining $90,000 from her with the promise of purchasing a house.

 However, it was revealed that he used the money to fund his opulent lifestyle, including luxury items, while owning a multimillion-dollar home in Paramus, New Jersey, and several apartment buildings in Hartford, Connecticut.
