Former Arsenal and Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud appears to be on the brink of a surprising move to Major League Soccer (MLS) following a three-year stint with AC Milan.
According to reports, Giroud, who joined Milan in 2021, is currently in advanced negotiations to finalize a transfer to the MLS as his contract with the Serie A side is set to expire in the summer.
Sources suggest that the 37-year-old striker is in discussions with Los Angeles FC regarding a potential move once his deal with Milan comes to an end.
Despite his age, Milan might be interested in extending Giroud's contract, given his impressive performances during his time with the Rossoneri.
Throughout the current season, Giroud has been in stellar form, tallying 12 goals and eight assists in just 26 league appearances, marking one of his most prolific campaigns to date.
