Arsenal's head coach, Mikel Arteta, acknowledges Brighton as a formidable opponent following their 3-0 triumph.

The Gunners reclaimed their position at the summit of the Premier League table post their decisive victory over Brighton.

At the Amex Stadium, Arsenal displayed dominance over the Seagulls, with goals courtesy of Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, and Trossard sealing the deal.

Arteta, in an interview with BBC MOTD post the 3-0 thrashing of the Seagulls at the Amex, praised Brighton's resilience, highlighting their unbeaten streak at home since August.

"Very difficult; they haven’t lost here since August," Arteta remarked.

Arteta lauded his team's maturity and tactical acumen amidst Brighton's relentless pressure. Despite missing several scoring opportunities, Arsenal showcased cohesion and purpose, both in attack and defense.

"In attack and defense, we had big performances individually. We missed some big chances, but the team looked really connected and had purpose. The last pass and shot to finish the situation could have been better, but it doesn’t matter as we kept going – really pleased to play here," Arteta affirmed.
