Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has expressed confidence in his team's ability to overcome Arsenal in the upcoming Champions League tie despite suffering a setback in the Bundesliga.

Bayern's Recent Defeat

Tuchel's side faced a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Borussia Dortmund at home, significantly denting their hopes of clinching the league title.

Arsenal's Performance

Meanwhile, Arsenal managed to secure a draw against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in their recent Premier League encounter, showcasing their resilience.

Champions League Showdown

The first leg of the highly anticipated clash between Bayern Munich and Arsenal is scheduled for April 9th at the Emirates Stadium, with the concluding leg set to take place in Bavaria a week later.

 Tuchel's Confidence

Despite the setback against Dortmund, Tuchel remains optimistic about his team's chances against Arsenal. In a post-match interview with ESPN reporter Archie Rhind-Tutt, Tuchel emphasized his belief in Bayern's ability to bounce back.

He stated, "That is not the first time that it happens to us and it is not the first time that we bounce back with a crazy good performance."

Tuchel acknowledged the inconsistency in Bayern's performance but remained steadfast in his confidence, remarking, "This is our point since many, many months that we struggle to find our consistency, so today we didn’t find [it], now we will prepare for Heidenheim and we are able to beat Arsenal, even if today this is very hard to believe."

He highlighted Bayern's capacity for delivering varied performances within a short span, indicating their resilience in challenging situations.
