Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has announced that Erling Haaland will miss their upcoming Premier League match against Brighton due to injury.
Injury Update
Haaland was absent from the squad during their recent FA Cup semi-final victory over Chelsea, having sustained a muscle injury in a previous match against Real Madrid. Since then, the Norwegian striker has been sidelined and has not yet returned to training.
Guardiola's Confirmation
Speaking at his press conference, Guardiola confirmed that Haaland will not be available for selection in the upcoming match against Brighton at the Amex Stadium. However, he provided positive news regarding the availability of Phil Foden and John Stones, who are both fit and ready for selection.
Guardiola reassured fans that while Haaland's injury is not considered serious, he will not be featuring in the upcoming fixture as he continues his recovery process.
