 Hindered Negotiations and Stifled Growth

 Discontent and Transparency Issues

Moreover, Ruger accused the label administration of opacity and exclusion from pivotal decisions affecting his personal brand and musical journey.

He took to Twitter to voice his grievances, highlighting the disparities between the label's actions and his professional aspirations.

In a series of tweets, Ruger elucidated his stance: "As much as I’m very appreciative of the fact that Jonzing World introduced me to the world, I just couldn’t continue with them because they got too comfortable with the money they were making from me and couldn’t push me further as I wanted to be pushed."

Frustration and Final Straw

Expressing his frustration with the situation, Ruger revealed his decision to sever ties with the label: "Was supposed to renegotiate the contract but I couldn’t imagine 5 years more without action. Seeking Change and Authenticity

Despite voicing his concerns and seeking resolution, Ruger felt disillusioned by the lack of substantive change. He candidly shared his experiences of returning to the label headquarters, only to be met with superficial gestures of reconciliation.

Ruger's narrative underscores the complexities and challenges within the music industry, emphasizing the importance of transparency, mutual respect, and equitable partnerships between artists and labels. His journey serves as a testament to the pursuit of authenticity and the quest for artistic fulfillment amidst the commercial pressures of the industry.
