Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic has been forced to withdraw from Germany's European Championship squad due to a bout of tonsillitis. 
This development comes just two days before the team's opening match against Scotland on June 14 at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
As a result, Emre Can has been called upon to replace Pavlovic in the German squad. Can will join his teammates as they prepare to face Scotland, followed by matches against Hungary on June 19 and Switzerland on June 23.
Germany's fixtures for the 2024 Euro are as follows:
- June 14: Germany vs. Scotland
- June 19: Germany vs. Hungary
- June 23: Switzerland vs. Germany
If Germany tops Group A, they will advance to the round of 16, where they will face the runners-up from Group C. Additionally, the four best third-placed teams from the group stage will also qualify for the knockout rounds.
