Edin Terzić Leaves Borussia Dortmund After Two Years in Charge

Borussia Dortmund has announced the departure of Edin Terzić, who has requested the termination of his contract after two years in charge. Terzić led the team to the UEFA Champions League final, where they narrowly lost to Real Madrid.

In a heartfelt statement, Terzić addressed the Borussia Dortmund faithful: "Dear Borussians, it pains me greatly to inform you that, as of today, I will be leaving BVB. It was a tremendous honor to lead this great club to a DFB-Pokal victory and recently to a Champions League final."

Terzić reflected on his tenure, stating, "After our final in Wembley, I asked the management for a conversation because, after ten years at BVB, including five years in the coaching team and two and a half years as head coach, I feel that the upcoming restart should be led by a new person."

During his time at the helm, Terzić oversaw 108 games, securing 63 wins, 23 draws, and 22 losses. His notable achievements include:

- DFB-Pokal victory (2020-21)
- UEFA Champions League final (2022-23)
- Bundesliga runner-up (2021-22)

Terzić's departure marks the end of an era at Borussia Dortmund, and his contributions to the club's success will be remembered. As the team embarks on a new chapter, fans and management alike will be grateful for his dedication and leadership.
