Rangers Crowned Champions of 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League

Rangers International Football Club of Enugu has emerged as the champion of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following a resounding 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance on Sunday in Enugu, with one match remaining in the season.

This triumph solidifies Rangers' position at the top of the league table with an unassailable 67 points, capitalizing on the losses of their closest contenders, Remo Stars and Enyimba, to Sunshine Stars and Sporting Lagos respectively.

The win marks Rangers' eighth Nigerian league title, cementing their status as the second most successful club in the league's history, surpassed only by Enyimba's nine titles.

As a result of their NPFL championship, Rangers have secured automatic qualification to represent Nigeria in the prestigious 2024/2025 CAF Champions League.
