Selena Gomez Reveals Adoption Plans and New Romance
In a recent interview with Time Magazine, American singer and actress Selena Gomez shared her intentions to adopt children if she remains unmarried by age 35.
However, her plans may be put on hold as she has recently confirmed her relationship with music producer Benny Blanco.
Gomez opened up about her journey with loneliness, saying, "I was alone for five years, and I got really used to it." She acknowledged the initial struggles, stating, "A lot of people are afraid of being alone, and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it." The singer then revealed her future plans, saying, "Then I came up with my plan, which was I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone."
When asked about Blanco's comments on wanting to have children with Gomez, she joked that he "can't lie to save his life" and that she knows he wants to have kids. She also added that she is happy to be with him and that she doesn't know what the future holds, but she does know that he's not going anywhere anytime soon.
Gomez's candid discussion showcases her growth and self-acceptance, highlighting her desire to build a family through adoption or potentially with her new partner. Her recent romance with Blanco may have put her adoption plans on hold, but only time will tell what the future holds for the happy couple.
