Sevilla FC has secured the services of Albert Sambi-Lokonga on a loan deal from Arsenal FC.
The agreement, which runs until the end of the 2024-2025 season, includes a purchase option, allowing Sevilla to make the transfer permanent.
Sambi-Lokonga, a 23-year-old Belgian midfielder, joined Arsenal in 2021 and went on to make 26 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
Lokonga played a significant role in the Gunners' campaign, starting in 15 Premier League matches and featuring in four Europa League games. But struggled to get into Mikel Arteta side which made him over on loan to Crystal Palace last season.
According to sources, Sevilla has agreed to personal terms with Sambi-Lokonga, and the loan deal includes a clause requiring the club to buy him outright if certain performance metrics are met.
