Frenkie de Jong, the Dutch midfielder with two years remaining on his contract, has been frequently linked with transfers away from Camp Nou. Despite his solid contributions—213 appearances and 17 goals—Barcelona is reportedly open to his departure.
Raphinha, the Brazilian winger who joined from Leeds United in 2022 for approximately €58 million, is also on the list. His position has been challenged by competitors such as Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal, limiting his role as a regular starter.
The list of players potentially leaving includes Vitor Roque, Ferran Torres, Clement Lenglet, Mikayil Faye, and Ansu Fati. However, injuries to De Jong and Araujo could influence their futures, and Raphinha has reportedly expressed no intention to move.
Barcelona’s strategy to offload these players aligns with its goal of bolstering the squad and potentially securing new signings, such as Nico Williams from Athletic Club. Williams, reportedly courted by Paris Saint-Germain, has yet to disclose his decision publicly.
