Conservative commentator Candace Owens has responded to Eminem's recent diss track aimed at her on his new album, labeling the lyrics as "super lame" and accusing the rapper of pandering to the Black community.
In an appearance on "The TMZ Podcast" on Friday, Owens addressed Eminem's remarks on his 12th album, "Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)." The rapper's track "Lucifer" contains lyrics targeting Owens, which she found laughable and evidence of Eminem's desperation to appear authentic to Black people.
"It's just so lame," Owens said. "Eminem's career is in decline, and he's too old to be relevant. He's pandering to his fans by attacking me because I'm a supporter of Donald Trump."
Owens remains unphased by Eminem's attempts to discredit her, asserting that his actions only highlight his own desperation to remain in the spotlight. "He's trying to be relevant by attacking me, but it's not going to work," she said.
The feud between Owens and Eminem has sparked a heated debate about race, politics, and celebrity culture. Owens' criticism of Eminem's lyrics and motives has sparked a wider conversation about the role of race and identity in the music industry.
