Chelsea's latest signing, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, was spotted on board the team plane heading to the United States for the club's pre-season tour.
If you that during the summer transfer window, the young midfielder, who joined the Blues from Leicester City in a £30 million deal, was seen in high spirits alongside teammate Ben Chilwell as the squad embarked on their transatlantic journey.
Dewsbury-Hall, 20, has signed a five-year contract with Chelsea, which includes an additional one-year option, and will be reunited with head coach Enzo Maresca, who also made the move from Leicester City. The midfielder is expected to play a key role in Chelsea's upcoming campaign, and the pre-season tour provides an excellent opportunity for him to gel with his new teammates.
The USA tour will see Chelsea face off against top-tier opponents, including Barcelona, Inter Milan, and New England Revolution, in a series of high-profile friendlies. The Blues will kick off their pre-season schedule with a match against Wrexham in California on July 24.
On the other hand, Ben Chilwell, who has been a mainstay in Chelsea's left-back position since joining from Leicester City in 2020, was seen chatting with Dewsbury-Hall as they settled in for the long-haul flight.
