Chelsea Football Club has secured the signature of Renato Veiga from FC Basel in a €14 million transfer deal. 
The talented left footed defender has committed to a seven-year contract, with an option for an additional season, solidifying his long-term future at the club.
Renato Veiga expressed his enthusiasm for joining the Blues, stating, "I'm absolutely buzzing to be here at Chelsea, this is one of the biggest clubs in England, the biggest for me." He added, "I'm really excited to get started."
