Former Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino has embarked on a new chapter in his life, announcing his ordination as an evangelical pastor at the age of 32.

The Brazilian footballer took to social media to share the news, marking a significant transition from the world of professional football where he carved a remarkable career.

 Firmino scored an impressive 82 goals in 328 games for Liverpool across all competitions. He was a vital cog in the club's success under Jürgen Klopp, helping them win the Premier League title in 2020 and the Champions League in 2019. 

Firmino, along with his wife Larissa Pereira, were ordained as pastors at the church they co-founded three years ago.
