Randal Kolo Muani, a striker for France, has expressed his backing for teammate Kylian Mbappe, who has struggled to find the net in the Euro 2024 tournament.
Kolo Muani shared his personal experience with the face mask, stating, "You really see nothing. Nothing." He acknowledged the challenges Mbappe faces while wearing the protective gear.
Despite Mbappe's underwhelming performance, Kolo Muani expressed confidence in the superstar's ability to rise to the occasion. "It's natural for him. He has this gift of carrying the team, the group. He gives ideas and advice to the players. He was born for this. He was born to pull the group upward," Kolo Muani said.
The striker emphasized the team's support for Mbappe, saying, "To see him not score, it's up to us to help him, to push him. The competition is not over. Apart from his little broken nose, he's OK physically."
France is set to face Spain in the semi-finals on Tuesday in Munich, a match that will pose a significant challenge for the team, given their struggles to score goals in open play at the tournament. However, France's victory over Portugal in a penalty shootout has secured their spot in the semi-finals.
