Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has officially joined Sevilla FC on a free transfer.
It's been learnt that 27-year-old striker has signed a two-year deal with the Spanish club, marking the end of his seven-year association with Leicester City this summer.
If you recall that Kelechi Iheanacho lifted the Championship with Leicester City last season.
Sevilla FC welcomed Iheanacho through their official Twitter account with a message in Spanish: “Kelechi Iheanacho, incorporación para la delantera sevillista. ¡Bienvenido! #WeareSevilla.” This translates to: "Kelechi Iheanacho, new addition to the Sevilla attack. Welcome! #WeareSevilla."
During his tenure at Leicester, Iheanacho netted 61 goals in 232 appearances and achieved significant milestones, including winning the FA Cup and the EFL Championship title. He also earned an EFL Cup during his earlier time with Manchester City.
