Michael Olise Set for Bayern Move After Medical Tests

Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise is set to undergo medical tests with Bayern Munich this weekend, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The 22-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Bundesliga giants, pending the successful completion of his medical.

Romano tweeted on Thursday morning: "Bayern have booked the initial part of medical tests for Michael Olise on Sunday. Understand nothing was signed yet until today as Bayern were informed of Palace to have a percentage on future sale for Olise after triggering the clause. This was the key point to clarify."

The deal is reportedly worth €60m, including add-ons, and will see Olise join Bayern on a five-year contract until 2029. Crystal Palace have managed to include a sell-on clause in the deal, which will entitle them to 10-15% of the transfer fee if Bayern decide to sell Olise in the future.

Olise's move to Bayern is a significant coup for the German club, who beat off competition from Chelsea, Manchester City, and Manchester United to sign the France U-21 international. The winger has been impressive for Palace, scoring 16 goals and assisting 25 in 90 appearances, despite spending significant time on the sidelines with injuries last season.

The official announcement of Olise's transfer is expected to follow once the medical tests are completed.
