Uruguay's Nahitan Nandez was shown a straight red card in a heated encounter against Brazil during the 2024 Copa América. 
The incident occurred in the 71st minute when Nandez lunged in with a reckless challenge on Brazilian winger Rodrygo.
Replays showed that Nandez made no attempt to play the ball and caught Rodrygo high on the shin with his studs.
