Portable Declines Participation in Planned National Protest
Nigerian singer Portable has publicly stated his stance on the planned national protest by some Nigerians, explaining his reasons for not participating.
In a video posted on his official Instagram page, Portablebaeby, the singer revealed that he will not be joining the proposed protest against the Nigerian government. Portable cited his financial status and a belief that Nigerians should focus on personal planning rather than protesting.
He remarked, “Nigerians should learn how to plan their lives because our leaders already planned theirs.” Portable also expressed concern about the motives of some protesters, stating, “Some of the people who want to join the protest want to use the opportunity to steal from other people’s shops and properties.”
Summarizing his position, Portable declared, “I’m now a rich man, I will not join protests against the government because Nigeria is okay."
