Pregnant Woman Dies in Confrontation with Neighbor in Cross River State

A pregnant woman has tragically died following a confrontation with her neighbor in Ugep town, Yakurr Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Journalist Agba Jalingo confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Friday, July 26, 2024. According to Jalingo, "The deceased woman's child was said to have picked a fight with a neighbour's child, which later degenerated into a fisticuffs between the deceased and her neighbor."

He further reported that "The deceased, who was heavily pregnant, lost her life in the process. It is not clear if the police have intervened."
