Spain's 16-year-old wonderkid, Lamine Yamal, etched his name into European Championship history on Tuesday.

Yamal became the youngest player ever to score in the tournament during Spain's thrilling 2-1 victory over France in the 2024 Euro semi-final.

The match started with a bang as France took an early lead through a Randal Kolo Muani header in the 8th minute. Spain, however, didn't buckle. Just 13 minutes later, the young prodigy Yamal stole the show. Picking up the ball outside the French area, he weaved through defenders before unleashing a stunning left-footed curler that found the net via the post.

The goal not only brought Spain level but also announced Yamal's arrival on the biggest stage. Spain continued to press and their dominance paid off in the 25th minute when Dani Olmo slotted home to give them the lead. France pushed for an equalizer but the Spanish defense held firm, securing their place in the Euro 2024 final.

This win puts Spain in the final, where they'll await the winner of the Netherlands vs. England clash.
