BBNaija Season 9 housemate, Chinwe has firmly denied claims that she sponsored her boyfriend, Zion, to participate in the reality show.
This follows a recent conflict between Chinwe and Zion, which arose after a dispute with their fellow housemate, Chizoba. Tensions escalated when Zion, whom Chinwe considers her boyfriend, requested that she apologize to Chizoba, sparking her frustration.
In a conversation with Dj Flo, Chinwe expressed her dissatisfaction with Zion, accusing him of frequently betraying her trust and leaving her feeling unsupported.
During this discussion, Chinwe also confided that she is seriously contemplating ending her relationship with Zion. She revealed that she had taken on the responsibility of ensuring both she and Zion secured spots in the Big Brother Naija house, suggesting that her efforts played a significant role in their participation.
However, during a recent eviction show, the host, Ebuka, sought clarification on Chinwe’s previous statements about sponsoring Zion’s entry into the show.
Chinwe firmly denied making any such claims, clarifying that her intention was merely to highlight the encouragement she provided Zion, who was initially reluctant to join the show. She emphasized that her words were misinterpreted, and she never implied financial or material sponsorship of Zion’s participation in the show.
