Big Brother Naija contestant, Chinwe Okafor, has officially announced her intention to exit the reality show. She informed Biggie of her decision following a series of escalating tensions with her boyfriend and in-show partner, Zion.
Chinwe’s frustration reached its peak on Thursday night after she accused Zion of betraying her to gain favor with other housemates. According to Chinwe, Zion failed to support her during a heated altercation with some of their fellow contestants. This lack of support deeply hurt Chinwe, who revealed that she had sponsored both their entries into the competition. Reflecting on her choices, she lamented bringing Zion onto the show instead of her “bestie,” whom she now believes would have been a better partner.
Chinwe also made it clear that she is considering ending her relationship with Zion, stating that they are not compatible. The situation escalated on Friday morning when fellow housemate Michky tried to convince Chinwe, who was already packing her belongings, to reconsider her decision. However, Chinwe was resolute, stating that her mind was made up.
“It is already late, I have told Biggie that I want to quit. I can’t keep making the first move, I’m not dumb,” Chinwe said, emphasizing her frustration. She went on to express her grievances regarding their financial arrangements, saying, “Down to our reservation, Zion did not spend a dime. I’m the one that spends on him. I know how much I spent to be here. He’s very ungrateful, God punish him.”
Chinwe’s decision to leave the show highlights her dissatisfaction not just with Zion’s behavior but with the overall experience of participating in the show alongside him. Her strong words reflect a deep sense of betrayal and disappointment.
