It's been learnt that the transfer is valued at €55 million, with an additional €7 million contingent on performance-based add-ons. Olmo has signed a six-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2030.
This move marks Olmo's return to Barcelona after a decade away. He initially came through the club’s La Masia youth academy from 2007 to 2014 before embarking on his professional career elsewhere.
Although there were some concerns regarding Olmo’s injury history, the results from his medical tests have been favorable. His debut for Barcelona is anticipated to take place on August 12, during the Joan Gamper Trophy match against AS Monaco.
