Donald Trump is significantly boosting his 2024 presidential campaign finances through a series of exclusive dinners, where attendees pay premium prices for the chance to meet the former president and have their photo taken with him.
Tonight, Trump is hosting a high-profile fundraiser in the Hamptons. The base entry fee for the event is set at $25,000. For those wishing to obtain a photograph with Trump, the cost rises to $50,000. Contributors who donate $250,000 will receive a seat at the table, while those providing $500,000 will be recognized as hosts, according to Bloomberg.
The campaign has set a goal to raise at least $10 million from this event, which is intended to provide a substantial financial boost as Trump campaigns for a return to the White House.
Vice President Kamala Harris, who is anticipated to be Trump's main rival in the November election, is also securing significant campaign funds. The Harris campaign reported raising over $310 million in July, including $200 million in the first week following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal and his endorsement of Harris.
In July, Trump's campaign raised nearly $139 million and holds $327 million in cash reserves as of August 1. Achieving $10 million in a single event marks a significant milestone, and Trump has additional high-profile fundraisers planned in the near future to further bolster his campaign's financial resources.
