Eduardo Camavinga Faces Extended Absence Due to Internal Collateral Ligament Sprain, Missing UEFA Super Cup and Early La Liga Matches

Real Madrid's midfielder Eduardo Camavinga will be sidelined for several weeks due to a significant injury. The 21-year-old French international sustained a knock during a recent training session as part of his team's preparations for their UEFA Super Cup clash against Atalanta.

Subsequent medical evaluations have revealed that Camavinga has suffered a sprain to the internal collateral ligament in his left knee. As a result, he is anticipated to be out of action for up to seven weeks. This injury will prevent him from participating in the UEFA Super Cup and will also impact his availability for the early matches of the 2024/2025 La Liga season.
