Emerson Royal has officially transferred to AC Milan from Tottenham Hotspur in a deal valued at over €15 million.
The transfer includes an option for an additional year. Royal has signed a contract with AC Milan that extends until June 30, 2028, with the possibility of extending it for another year.
The 25-year-old Brazilian defender, who began his European career with Real Betis before moving to Barcelona and then Tottenham in 2021, has made 101 appearances for Tottenham, scoring four goals during his tenure.
This transfer is seen as a strategic decision by both clubs. Tottenham is reshaping its squad dynamics, while AC Milan is bolstering its defensive lineup with Royal's addition.
