Jose Mourinho had a light-hearted moment with Fred after the Brazilian midfielder scored his first career hat-trick during Fenerbahce's 5-0 victory over Caykur Rizespor this past weekend. 
Mourinho, who signed Fred during his tenure at Manchester United in 2018, reunited with the player at Fenerbahce after taking over as manager of the Turkish club earlier this summer.
Fred, starting in the Turkish Super Lig for the first time this season, delivered an outstanding performance, scoring his first goal with a powerful long-range shot just 15 minutes into the game. He went on to add two more goals in the second half, securing a comfortable win for Fenerbahce.
Following Fred's substitution in the 81st minute, he shared a joyful moment with Mourinho on the bench, who was clearly delighted with the Brazilian's achievement. The victory maintains Fenerbahce's unbeaten start in the league under Mourinho, despite their earlier exit from the Champions League qualifiers.
