Solomon Buchi, a media personality and life coach, has voiced his disapproval of Big Brother Naija contestants, Doublekay, for showcasing their marriage on the reality TV show.
Doublekay, comprising Kellyrae and Kassia, got into a heated argument in the house after a fellow contestant accused Kassia of inappropriate behavior. The footage showed Kellyrae rebuking his wife for walking away from the conversation as he tried to address the issue.
Solomon Buchi expressed his disappointment, stating, "Wait, a married couple went on Big Brother Naija? You guys have no respect for marriage."
He lamented that modern couples are eager to appear on a show that promotes questionable morals and romantic entanglements, saying, "There was a time when people believed one had sense just because they are married. These days, married people are scrambling to get on a reality show that thrives on romantic affairs and immorality."
Buchi's comments highlight his concern that the couple's decision to participate in the show undermines the sanctity of marriage. He emphasized that marriage was once revered, but now couples are willing to compromise their values for the sake of reality TV fame.
