Lege Miamii, the Nigerian actor born Adams Kehinde, has ignited a fierce debate with his recent video post.
On August 2, Miamii led an anti-protest march in Lagos, where he urged the public to exercise patience, assuring them that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would eventually resolve the country's issues.
However, Miamii’s video took a controversial turn as he sharply criticized the Yoruba people, labeling them as reckless and blaming them for the nation's current disarray, which he attributed to their involvement in the widespread protests. According to Miamii, the unrest and chaos in Nigeria can be traced back to the actions of the Yoruba community.
In a contrasting statement, Miamii praised the Igbo people, claiming that they are about 80% peaceful within their own regions. This comparison and his harsh remarks about the Yoruba have sparked significant backlash, with many questioning his motives and the accuracy of his claims.
