
Police Nab Notorious "One Chance" Robbers in Nasarawa State
A major victory has been achieved by the Nasarawa State Police Command with the arrest of two notorious "One Chance" armed robbers. The suspects, who terrorized unsuspecting passengers, were apprehended in the Karu Local Government Area, and their operational vehicle was recovered.
The police spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, revealed that the suspects were caught on August 13, 2024, after robbing a female passenger and throwing her out of their moving vehicle. A swift response by police operatives, aided by public support, led to the interception of the suspects' vehicle and the arrest of the two robbers, identified as John Iorfa, 29, and James Agbo, 37, from Makurdi, Benue State.
The stolen items were recovered, and the suspects are cooperating with the investigation. The police are working to apprehend other members of the syndicate. This breakthrough is a testament to the effective collaboration between the police and the public in combating crime.
