Sterling and Chilwell Frozen Out: Chelsea Duo Train Apart from First Team

Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell's Future at Chelsea Uncertain

Enzo Maresca has revealed that the two players will no longer be part of the Chelsea team as Club sell the players this summer.

Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell have been excluded from Chelsea's first-team training, signaling a potential end to their tenure at the club.

This development comes after Enzo Maresca, Chelsea's coach, candidly assessed their prospects.

Maresca stated, "I just try to be honest... I told Raheem he's going to struggle to get minutes with us. Chilly, he's going to struggle here too." This blunt evaluation suggests that both players face significant challenges in securing regular playing time.

Sterling, who joined Chelsea in July 2022 from Manchester City, has struggled to establish himself as a key player. His omission from the starting XI against his former club, Manchester City, further emphasizes his uncertain future. Chilwell, who signed with Chelsea in August 2020 from Leicester City, has also faced difficulties in cementing his position in the team.

As Sterling and Chilwell train apart from the first team, speculation surrounding their departures intensifies. Chelsea's decision to marginalize these high-profile players indicates a significant shift in the club's strategy, potentially paving the way for new arrivals or opportunities for other squad members to shine.
