The Kano State Police Command has announced the arrest of two individuals suspected of stealing a signpost from a police station in Bachirawa, Ungogo Local Government Area. According to the Command's spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the suspects were apprehended on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, thanks to the assistance of local residents.

SP Kiyawa expressed gratitude to the community for their role in facilitating the arrest, stating, "We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa."
