Angela Onoja, a Facebook user, shared an account on Sunday about an experience she had at church involving an usher and her choice of footwear.
According to Onoja, while seated in the front row of the church, she was approached by an usher who requested that she move from her seat. The usher explained that the reason for this request was her sandals.
Onoja conveyed her dissatisfaction by posting images of the sandals and included a message expressing her frustration. In her post, she wrote, "An usher at Church asked me not to sit at the front seat because of my sandals. So, I leave my house early so I can be in Church on time and get a comfortable place to sit only to be asked not to sit there because I am putting on sandals? Like, how is that proper? It’s not even Sunday service. May God purge me of this anger I feel sha."
In her message, Onoja highlighted her sense of injustice, noting that despite her effort to arrive early and secure a good seat, she was still asked to move due to her sandals, which she found unreasonable, especially since it was not a Sunday service.
