In a candid open letter to President Tinubu, shared on his Facebook page, Joe Igbokwe, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed his deep concerns regarding the high cost of electricity tariffs in the country. Igbokwe emphasized that if the current tariff regime is not urgently addressed, it will have devastating consequences for businesses, ultimately leading to their demise.

Igbokwe drew from his personal experience to illustrate the severity of the issue, recounting how he recently purchased N20,000 worth of electricity units, only to have them depleted on the same day.
