Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has reportedly made the significant decision to switch his international allegiance from England to Nigeria, choosing to represent the Nigeria Super Eagles.

Adarabioyo joined Chelsea in June 2024 on a free transfer from Fulham, securing a four-year contract with the London club.

The 26-year-old brought a wealth of Premier League experience with him to Stamford Bridge, adding defensive solidity to the squad. A key factor in his move was the opportunity to reunite with manager Enzo Maresca, whom he had briefly worked with during his time at Manchester City.

Since arriving at Chelsea, Adarabioyo has already made his presence felt. His performances have been noteworthy, particularly his ability to read the game and contribute to both attacking and defensive set-pieces. His addition to the team has been instrumental in bolstering Chelsea's defense, as he has seamlessly integrated into the squad and become a reliable figure on the field.

His decision to represent Nigeria is seen as a major boost for the Super Eagles. The Nigerian national team will benefit from his experience and versatility in defense, adding further depth to their backline.
