Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has recently been fined for a speeding violation, facing a substantial financial penalty.
According to reports, the incident occurred on March 7, when Maguire was driving his black Land Rover on the A616 near Sheffield, his hometown.
The defender was caught exceeding the speed limit, traveling at 68 mph in a 60 mph zone. This minor infraction, however, has drawn attention due to his high-profile status as a professional footballer.
Upon realizing the charge, Maguire acted swiftly by pleading guilty. This decision allowed him to avoid a court appearance, with the case being handled by Sheffield Magistrates' Court.

A £268 victim surcharge and £90 in legal costs brought the total financial penalty to £1,208. Alongside the fine, three points were added to his driver’s license, marking a notable consequence for the England international.
