Retired English footballer David Beckham recently shared a series of photos from a visit to an Essex eatery with his son, Romeo, and his mother, Sandra. The former footballer, aged 49, is a regular at Tony's Pie & Mash shop in Waltham Abbey, near his birthplace of Leytonstone.
During this visit, Beckham treated Romeo, 22, and Sandra, 75, to a meal of pie, mashed potatoes, and liquor gravy, all for just £5.50.
The presence of the sports legend caused quite a stir among the diners, who were thrilled to see him. Beckham took to his Instagram Stories a week later to praise the restaurant, calling it "the best," and shared photos of himself, Romeo, and Sandra enjoying their meals. He dressed casually for the outing in a khaki-green shirt, rugged blue jeans, and his favorite tweed baker boy cap, while Romeo opted for a grey tracksuit and a knitted beanie.
The father-son duo also took time to pose for photos with fans, with Beckham even signing several children's football shirts. The owner of the pie and mash shop, Tony, expressed his delight on Instagram, sharing snaps from the visit and praising the Beckham family for always making customers feel special.
