Victor Boniface Dismisses Premier League Rumors:

Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, currently a standout at Bayer Leverkusen, has weighed in on recent rumors linking him to the Premier League.

Despite the interest from some of England’s top clubs, Boniface’s response indicated a firm preference for staying in other top European leagues.

In an interview, Boniface made his stance clear when asked about a potential move to England. "No. I’ve said it before, even when I didn’t have an international passport or dream of playing in Europe. I’ve never really been drawn to the Premier League," he remarked.

"I prefer Spanish or German football. Of course, if a top Premier League club made a good offer, I’d consider it, but if I had to choose, I’d pick Germany and Spain over England." His frankness about his preferences has sparked further discussion about his career trajectory.

Boniface’s stellar form for Bayer Leverkusen only adds to his rising profile. In the previous season, he racked up an impressive 25 goals and 11 assists across 40 matches, showing his consistency as a top performer.

This season, he has already tallied 4 goals and an assist in just 6 games, keeping up his excellent standard in front of goal. His ability to score and create chances has made him one of the most talked-about talents in European football.

This weekend, Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen face a major challenge as they prepare to take on Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga clash, scheduled for Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Allianz Arena, promises to be a top-tier showdown. Both teams, eyeing the top spot in the league, will be determined to prove their strength in what is shaping up to be a thrilling match between two German giants.
