Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi have rejoined Kano Pillars on short-term contracts for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Nigeria internationals were spotted training with the former NPFL champions on Thursday, October 3, ahead of their Matchday 5 home fixture against Sunshine Stars.
"Kano Pillars players Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi, Nazir Laja, and the rest of the squad trained ahead of the NPFL 2024/25 Matchday 5 clash against Sunshine Stars this weekend," the club announced via their official X account on Friday.
Musa, 31, is making his third return to Kano Pillars, having previously played for the team during the 2009/10 season and again in 2021. Abdullahi, meanwhile, will be joining the club for the second time, following his first stint in 2012.
Abdullahi, a defensive midfielder, has been without a club since January 2023, while Musa terminated his contract with Turkish side Sivasspor in February.
