Anthony Joshua has slipped to 7th place in the latest heavyweight rankings released by Ring Magazine, following his devastating loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21.

Once ranked third, Joshua had hoped to solidify his standing among the heavyweight elite with a victory over Dubois. Instead, he was knocked down four times during the fight, resulting in a significant and shocking defeat.

This outcome has led to a steep drop in Joshua's ranking, with Dubois surpassing him and climbing to second place in the updated standings.

Now positioned just behind Tyson Fury, who holds the number one spot, Dubois is followed closely by current unified champion Oleksandr Usyk, who remains the Ring Magazine titleholder.

Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang take up third and fourth positions, while Agit Kabayel and Martin Bakole sit in fifth and sixth, all ranked ahead of Joshua after his latest setback.

Both Parker and Zhang recently claimed important wins over Deontay Wilder, boosting their rankings, with Parker edging out Zhang after defeating him last December.

Agit Kabayel secured his place in the top ten after defeating Frank Sanchez, while Martin Bakole's stunning victory over American prospect Jared Anderson continues his steady climb in the rankings.

Despite the defeat, Joshua remains in the top ten, narrowly ahead of Filip Hrgovic, Dubois’ other recent opponent, while Efe Ajagba and Justis Huni round out the list.

Joshua and Dubois are set to meet again in a rematch on December 21, where Dubois could challenge for the undisputed crown, though another showdown with Joshua remains a possibility.

In the heavyweight rankings, Usyk and Fury still hold firm at the top:
