Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has delivered some promising updates on the fitness of several key players ahead of their Premier League match against Bournemouth this weekend.

Addressing the media, Arteta shared, "Bukayo Saka’s injury is not serious, he’s evolving very well and we are hopeful." Saka, who had a slight hamstring issue during England's recent game against Greece, has made good progress in training and could be ready for the match.

"Kai Havertz could also be involved this weekend if all goes to plan in training," Arteta added. Havertz, who missed Germany's Nations League matches due to a knee injury, is under close observation and is expected to undergo a final assessment before the game.

"Thomas Partey is fit and ready," Arteta confirmed, giving fans a boost of confidence. Partey missed his national team's fixtures but has fully recovered and is set to play against Bournemouth.

"For Gabriel Martinelli, same as Havertz; we will decide today," Arteta mentioned. Martinelli, who sustained an injury while on duty with Brazil, is being carefully monitored, with a decision on his availability due soon.

Arteta also provided updates on other players, saying, "Ben White, Jurrien Timber, and Oleksandr Zinchenko are quite close, we hope to have some positive news." The trio are in the final stages of their recoveries and could potentially return to action soon.

Arsenal currently holds a strong position in the Premier League, sitting third with 17 points from their first seven matches. The team is aiming to continue their impressive form as they travel to face Bournemouth, who are currently 13th in the table. The Gunners are eager to maintain their momentum and extend their unbeaten run in the league.
