In the video, VDM introduced himself as the "CSP of the Online Division" in what he described as a humorous portrayal aimed at addressing social issues. However, the Nigerian Police did not take the skit lightly, viewing the unauthorized use of the uniform as an affront to their institution.

In an official statement shared on social media, the Police expressed their disapproval, emphasizing that using police symbols without permission could misrepresent the force and erode public respect for its authority. They also reminded the public that wearing police uniforms without authorization is a punishable offense under Nigerian law, as outlined in Section 251 of the Criminal Code and Section 133 of the Penal Code. The Force indicated that a formal investigation has been launched to identify the source of the uniform used and determine whether VDM had any legal authorization for the skit.

While the Police acknowledged the creativity of young Nigerians in content creation, they issued a warning against misusing official symbols, underscoring that such acts could result in legal consequences.
