Chacha began by introducing herself, stating, "My name is Chacha Eke Faani, and today is World Mental Health Day." With vulnerability, she shared the challenges she faces living with bipolar disorder.

"Bipolar disorder is a part of my life," she explained. "A chemical reaction in my brain can spark dysfunction and behaviors I don't like. My mind races, and I'm restless, sleepless, with a whirlwind of thoughts."

Chacha's powerful testimony highlighted the complexities of living with bipolar disorder, including:

- Intensified emotions
- Depression and feelings of hopelessness
- Creativity bursts followed by silence
- Obsessive-compulsive tendencies (OCD)
- Energy highs and lows
- Exhaustion and fatigue

Despite these challenges, Chacha emphasized her resilience and determination. "I am bipolar, but I don't bite. I am just like you. Every day, I am fighting."

Chacha's bravery comes after her highly publicized separation from her husband, Austin Faani Ikechukwu, in June 2022, ending their nine-year marriage. The couple shares four children: Kamara, Kaira, Chiemerie, and Diamond.

Her message served as a call to action, urging others to practice kindness and empathy towards individuals struggling with mental health issues.

"Be kind," she implored. "Let's break the stigma surrounding mental health."
