Paul Pogba, the French midfielder currently with Juventus, is set to make a return to football after his doping ban was significantly reduced. Initially handed a four-year suspension, Pogba's ban has been cut to 18 months following a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

The 31-year-old was provisionally suspended in September 2023 after testing positive for DHEA, a banned substance that increases testosterone levels. The test was conducted following Juventus's 3-0 victory over Udinese in the opening match of the Serie A season. Pogba has consistently denied any wrongdoing, maintaining that he never knowingly took any banned substances.
In a heartfelt post on Twitter, Pogba expressed his relief and determination to return to the pitch. He wrote, "I am grateful for the support I have received during this challenging time. I am eager to get back to doing what I love and to help my team achieve great things. Thank you to everyone who stood by me."

Pogba's reduced ban means he could potentially return to action by March 2025, allowing him to contribute to Juventus's campaign before the season ends. This news has been met with excitement from fans and teammates alike, who are eager to see the World Cup winner back in action.
